Has anybody managed to do the pre-order thing for their up-coming album? Pre-sales were supposed to start yesterday, but when I tried it just now, I got a notice saying that the album was out of stock, and therefore my cart was empty. Well, of course it’s out of stock – it’s a pre-order, after all. But I’ve had other problems using non-IE browsers on their site before. If you’ve managed to pre-order using Firefox or Safari on Mac, please let me know.

I had the same problem, but it seems that they fixed it on there end. I was able to pre-order last night from my Mac using Firefox.
I’ve been meaning to thank you for turning me on to them. The progression went something like this, over the course of about six months:
– go to website to listen to their 30 sec clips. “Hey this is pretty good.” Order a cd.
– get cd. Listen. “Hey this is really good”. Order the rest of the cds.
– notice they are playing nearby. Drive 3 hours. “This is even better live”.
I got an email yesterday saying that they’d fixed the problem. And while their order form doesn’t work with Safari, it works with Firefox on Mac. I’ve got to say, though, that it’s obvious why the two “exclusives” aren’t on the album – they just aren’t that good.
But you’re right about “even better live”. Road Rage is still my favourite CD because it sounds like the first concert of theirs I went to. Unfortunately they aren’t playing small venues around here any more, so the Molson Amphitheatre at Ontario Place is probably the only place I’m going to see them this year, and that venue sucks.
