I figure if those legislators dislike the commercialisation that much, they can vote for funding increases to the museum, or better yet, donate the several millions out of their own pockets.
These logos aren’t there to make the museum money, they are there because they are historically correct. This plane made history with those logos on them, so therefore those logos should be on the plane when it is displayed.
I was referring more to the other comments in the article, regarding the commercial sponsors of bits of the exhibits.
