The annoying thump that I’ve ranted about several times in the past is about three times as loud and twice as frequent today. And it’s not just shaking the pictures on my cube wall, it’s making my monitor shake. Arggh!

If the monitor that I was employed to stare at all day was shaking, I’d claim nausea/migraine and go home until The Powers That Be worked out how to stop it…
A friend works for Metro. His office is deep in the bowels of the HQ building; and directly adjacent to the trackage. For many months, every time a train went by, the E-M field would drive his CRT batty.
Me? I’d have cited that as a reason to request new 22″ LCD’s…
