Aww man, that sucks. I’m often paranoid about leaving *anything* in my vehicles of worth but I’ll admit that I still do it regardless unless I’m parking somewhere really sketchy.

I’d often look at my flight bag in the back seat (back when it used to be a permanent resident) and think of how much of a nightmare it would be to try to replace the logbook if it ever got stolen.

I guess that it’ll be fun replacing it all at Oshkosh though, as you mentioned. How much will your insurance cover?

All that aside, I’d be keeping an eye at the local pawn shops to see if some or all of your stuff reappears in the next few days- a ton of aviation related equipment all showing up at once would be easy to spot if the thieves are stupid enough to try that route. I
