		<description>I've never built a kayak, but I've used a lot of epoxy, both West and System 3.  If you're brushing the resin onto the tape/cloth as if you were painting a fence, don't do it that way.  You'll always shift/wrinkle the cloth and pull fibers loose.  Try dabbing the resin into place with the end of a stiff, short-bristled brush.  Or mix more resin and while wearing nitrile gloves, dab it on with your fingertips straightening the cloth as you go.  With practice it gets much easier.</description>

That's my own personal hell.   I have a few blemishes on my truck that I'm sure nobody else ever notices, but they drive me bloody insane since I find myself continually noticing (and fixating) on them.

I do this with everything.   It's an annoying habit I wish I could break.</description>
