Balance hardly enters into it, since the logo and text are very clearly superimposed on the photo, not part of it. In fact the size of the logo in #2 pushes the text too far <i>into</i> the photo. Watch out, bottom-most plane! That S nearly got your tail! Cute avatar, Vicki; a little <i>too</i> cute, maybe. What manga did you get it from? Someone *really* handy in photoshop could probably scan your current skin, do their magic to pull only the signatures, and then give you a file you could transpose over the new skin image before you submit it for printing.
