		<description>The drive's clearly knackered, but iTunes is also complicit in the requirement to reboot even on a virgin machine. I ended up with a PowerMac that has two optical drives in it so I can keep working when it's lost one of them :)

I don't think I need to look at Apple's price list for a new Powerbook case to know that you'll probably find a USB optical drive will be substantially cheaper. Possibly even a Blu-ray drive would be cheaper...</description>
