Hey, tech support guys!

I have a really amazing suggestion for you: When the instructions I wrote say

cd /content/tmp
tar xvf /media/usbdisk/upgrade.tar

Either

  • Don’t tell the guy in the field to skip the “cd” step OR
  • Don’t come to me and tell me that the installer program can’t find the files.

    If they were capable of understanding printed instructions, how long would they be working in support before evolving to admin-type work?
