Ok, I’ve delivered a version of the code I’m working on with all the bits hooked together so that it should be test-able. Now I have to wait for a build to be produced so that I can install it on a test machine and start finding out all the ways it’s broken.

Since it’s going to be at least a couple of hours before the build is done, I’m going to go home and relax, try to not watch any election stuff, and relax before I start Stage 2 Of Hell tomorrow.

Clear your mind completely, and get a damn good night’s sleep (but don’t forget to vote :-).

Seriously, take care of yourself and don’t skimp on the de-stressing, wherever and whenever you can - burnout is not a pleasant experience, as I’m sure you’re already aware.

Haven’t been following, but, what does this code do? What is it part of?

It’s a part of the Kodak digital cinema system or whatever they’re calling it now. Here’s a web page about it:

The press part doesn’t mention the technical bits, but the code is in Java and the systems all run Linux.
