I've never gotten a good briefing in New York, but our local briefers (Conroe FSS) are great. They'll route you around weather, give good advice, whatever you need. Lots of Lousiana is like that too. There are several that are generally polite to callers, and that characteristic doesn't appear to correlate with nationality, only with maturity. Have you heard much Limbaugh or Schlessinger?
