The fix is detailed in the last comment <a href="http://wordpress.org/support/topic.php?id=18400" rel="nofollow">here</a>, and the page you need to edit is <code>wp-content/themes/default/archive.php</code> - about half way down. I think the release of WP1.5 happened more quickly than a lot of people were expecting - quite a few plugins are causing problems... It doesn’t work from the category index though - I had exactly the same problem on my own blog.
